What it does

This plugin provides native, editable, nested WordPress menu panels. Native means it works with WordPress menus the way WordPress menus work. Editable means you control your menu instead of accepting whatever structure a theme guessed for you. Nested means menus with sub levels open as panels, so a visitor can go deeper into a menu without the whole thing turning into one long, confusing scroll.

The handling details are covered. There is a parent Back control, so a visitor who goes into a sub panel can get back to where they were. There is close handling and Escape handling, so the menu can be closed the ways people naturally try to close things, including pressing Escape. Focus and scroll restoration are handled too, so when a visitor closes the menu, they return to where they were on the page instead of losing their place.

And if JavaScript is not available, there is a no JavaScript link fallback. The visitor still gets links they can use. Your menu does not become a dead end.
